In 2013, I had a tragic experience that lead me to pursue a creative side of me that I never knew existed. I found a love for creating acrylic pour art. I never considered myself as an artist, but there was one buried inside that found it’s way to the surface years after the death of my only brother. Excitingly, my art began finding it’s way into homes, businesses, auctions, donations, and galleries—who knew.
Once I got going with this new hobby, it was all I could think about it. Over the years, I’ve been invited to several shows and galleries—Blue Line Arts Gallery, as well as, RAW Natural Born Artists, just to name a few.
Most recently, in the fall of 2023, my art story “The Accidental Artist” was published in the 406 Woman’s Magazine, with a full two-page spread. Click here if you would like to see the article.
I am humbled and happy at this direction in my life, and very excited to see my art move people as it has me in the short time that I began creating it.
